Over the Rainbow

My beautiful friend, Liz Roberts left us last night. She will be buried next Saturday in a beautiful ecological cemetery in South Carolina, according to her wishes.
Many are asking how to help and support the family. You can make a donation here to help with expenses at this difficult time. Anything helps. Thank you all for your kind thoughts and support.

This was her favorite song:

Somewhere over the rainbow
Way up high,
There’s a land that I heard of
Once in a lullaby.

Somewhere over the rainbow
Skies are blue,
And the dreams that you dare to dream
Really do come true.

Someday I’ll wish upon a star
And wake up where the clouds are far
Behind me.
Where troubles melt like lemon drops
Away above the chimney tops
That’s where you’ll find me.

Somewhere over the rainbow
Bluebirds fly.
Birds fly over the rainbow.
Why then, oh why can’t I?

If happy little bluebirds fly
Beyond the rainbow
Why, oh why can’t I?

  1. What a bright, vibrant light that went out. She will be so missed. I was in NYC this past week, so I felt somehow I was able to say farewell when practicing last night and this morning @ Jivamukti. I heard you spent a lot of time with her in the hospital…I’m glad she had friends and support around her. Much love, Erin
